In English:
Then it has been my birthday. I think I’m about to reach the point where I say that I don’t remember if people ask me about my age….
Got lots of lovely presents. I got a gorgeous top mattress (if that not the right word, feel free to
correct me) as a combined jule-/birhtday present.
I also got:
– A body scrub product
– a little metal bird, that can squeeze citrus fruits
– a book by Martin A. Hansen
– a bag of Himalayya salt
– a rosemary soap and a herb massage oil.
– a check, that I promptly spent on a hide.
– a baby’s bath tub (no, I’m not starting to think along those lines! 😉 ). It is very practical, when you plant dye. Buckets are often too small-
– three bottles of the family’s home made apple juice, jummi.

And the package from my SP has arrived…well the packaging label has. Looking forward to pick up the package tomorrow.

Also I have borrowed my father’s carboys and my mother’s spinning wheel (borrowing in the sense of: Sometime in the (not nessasarily near) future we would like to have them back). The spinning wheel do need some adjustment before it’s usable.

Looking forward to get all crafty 😉 😉

  • Oh…and have a wonderful trip to Denmark 🙂

  • Yes, I think that is the word, although the ones we use in DK is not as soft as those I saw, when I googled “mattress comforter”. We generally like our beds harder than that, so we use comforters with firm foam or latex cores. Anyway I have slept on mine for a few weeks, and I am very pleased with it.

  • Happy birthday! I am well past forgetting my age, and now feel that I’ve earned being 73! I love your dye colors, and thank you for posting them in English. I wonder if your “top mattress” is what we call a comforter: a very thick quilt? We hope to visit your country sometime soon. — Bjo
