SP9 questionnaire

1. What is/are your favorite yarn/s to knit with? What fibers do you absolutely *not* like?
Like:
– 100% wool. I am interested in the properties of the wool of different races, and
what they are especially good to use for (so expect to be asked about which race the wool came from).
– yarns from other animals, such as goat wool, musk ox wool, cow hair (but that I can’t find anywhere anymore!) aso. Not dog hair though.
– And plantfibers such as hemp, nettle, long fibred flax.

As I do viking age re-enactment I restrict myself to animals and plants whose wool were acsessible to people in the Nordic countries in the viking age.

Don’t like:
Synthetics. Mohair also tend to annoy me very much when knitting with it.

A fabric case that rolls up. Bought it with paint brushes in…but soon thought of a mush better
use for it.

My mother taught me how to knit when I was 6 years old, but I was about 10 before I really started
